Vids and Bojangles.

Soooooo I wandered down to North Carolina  a few days early before the D.O.F premiere to ride a little bit, check out the Easterns new office and bug Leigh, as much as I could. Mission accomplished. the premiere was in the middle of now where with no legal address ( seriously) and a dirt road off a country road. I had my doubts when Leigh got lost and as we were turning around in a driveway for the third time trying to find the famous Seamus ramps, I realized we had 2 other cars with bikes following us. The blind leading the blind. BUT, we found the spot soon after that and found alot of cars and people there, riding drinking and chilling having a good time before the vid started. The ramps were crowed so I chilled and took awesome photos on a 35-mm camera I had bought earlier that day called "Diana mini", if any came out maybe I'll post some up later on. the video seemed to get a good response, but after we left before one of the 2 music acts went on, some fight broke out and shut the party down. Big thanks to Seamus and Fam for hosting a cool night.

My other highlights of the trip included seeing Leigh's NEW car, he hasn't had one in like 5 years and so when I got a photo of him next to his new(it's a 95') Mercedes it was priceless. Eastern also got a little treat while I was there. You'll have to check the photos to see what I'm talking about.  Hanging out with Mike and Jon is always a great time. The next day was a Benefit Jam for Daulton Jones, a rider, he's paralized and has the medical bills as expected. Everyone came together, HS Bike shop came down Indiana, printed up cool shirts and gave %100 profit to Daulton and his fam. Eastern had alot of things to raffle off and ebay too. It was a good turn out and over $1300 was raised! Big thanks to Hard Core Sports for the coming down, Fender Guitars, Eastern Bikes, Shadow, DK and verde.  Efforts like this mean everything when such hardship strikes a persona nd family, I can only begin to imagine.  Daulton was there to hang out all day to. Proof how strong he is and appreciative.  The jam had best trick, high air, long jump, foot down, and backwards ninja drop (no one entered that) super fun stuff. Stoked I drove down for both events.
