FISE France Trip

About to get ready for an Eastern Trip tomorrow with Craig and Mangler to go ride and film. Just wanted to give a little update about my recent trip to France.  Got a call from Leigh one night asking if I wanted to go to France for a contest called Fise in Montpellier. Craig was supposed to go but couldn't make it so I left the following day. Was my first time leaving the states and what a time!

I got in night before qualifying and got settled in around midnight. Woke up early to get to practice before everyone was out there for qualifying. Contest was so good, about 90 riders rode to try and make finals. Each rider got a 45 second run plus a best trick,took all day and a little bit into the morning. I got my run out right before sundown and landed my best trick also. Found out next morning i qualified 8th which i was pumped about. Next day was finals and was crazy!! Everyone was going crazy, Guettler was dbl flipping and superman flipping, Daniel was doing all his crazy stuff and lines, Webby who won the contest pulled a decade to 360, and so much more. I ended up in 6th and couldn't have been happier, I pulled a 720 barspin in my first run and 720 tailwhip in my second run and that alone made my day.

Was one of the best contest I have been to, so chill and fun, and so many people were happy to watch and pumped on everything. I was told there were over 300,000 people watching over 3 days of the event being held. It is crazy there because the crowds are so loud and appreciate everything you do. Last day i was in France I met up with Christian(photographer for Cream magazine) and rode some cement park and shot some photos for an upcoming interview in Cream, make sure to check that out.A big thanks to Leigh for the opportunity,Christian for the floor space and photos, and Thierry for the help, I would have probably been so lost and confused with out his help over there!!
