Inside/Out New Castle Day 2

We woke this morning to the sound of pouring rain. Not exactly what you want to hear when you are on a trip and ready to ride. So we loaded up the Subaru and headed east towards Dayton in hopes that the rain would subside and we could get in a solid day of riding. A little detour took us to New Castle and Hardcore Sportz. We dropped off a few bags, said hi to Kyle, played with Blackjack the shop cat and kept on trucking to Dayton with rain still coming down.

With no hopes in riding street as planned we made a call to Catfish and a session was set up at the DK ramps. We arrived and Catfish pulled and let us hear his train horn. Amazing. After our ears stopped ringing it was time to get the sesh underway. Everyone had a blast on the ramps. They were dialed and had plenty of lines for everyone. A bunch of locals showed up to ride along with some strapped in skateboard riders. Adam met one of the locals BMXer, Josh, who happened to have the same birthday as he did but the year Josh was born Adam got his first bike. We got a bunch of clips and once everyone was tired and sore we went to eat some dinner and hear amazing stories with Catfish. Thanks for saving our ass today man! Let’s hope the rain stops and we can get that street in tomorrow.

No Wet Grips
Gotta keep the grips dry.

Indiana Backroads
The back roads of Indiana. I wasn't sure if we would relive Twister or Children of the Corn driving through here.

Getting the Shot
I did what I had to in order to get a good shot.

Leigh Quarter Air
In between filming the guys I did get to ride some and it was a blast.

Karl Nose Press to Fakie
Karl was the only one of us who rode the ramps before. Nose Press to fakie.

Adam Downside Fastplant
Adam Banton rode this place the most out of everyone. Downside footplant.
