Slider Contest Winners

First I'd like to start off saying thank you to all of the riders who sent in videos. Eastern Bikes and I had a lot of fun hosting this contest and we were really happy to see the huge amount of entries that came in. They were all really good and I hope everyone had a fun time. It was really tough for me to narrow it down to just one video. With that being said, we decided to award an Eastern Bikes prize package to the 2nd and 3rd place videos as well and 1st place walking away with the Eastern Journey frame, Hawkeye forks, and Wonder Years bars. Here were my picks.

The 1st place video goes to Andy Persing from Los Angeles, CA! His video features a wide variety of tricks including a slider and not to mention it was a well put together video with the editing, song, and graphics. There was a good mix of street and park as well. Mr. Persing will be getting set up with a new Eastern Journey frame, Hawkeye forks, and Wonder Years bars. I hope you enjoy the Eastern frame, fork, and bars kit as much as I do. Congratulations Andy!

The 2nd place video goes to Corey Furmage from Apple Valley, CA. Being original with the slider was one of the main things I looked for in each video and there was definitely a lot of originality and creativity in this one with all the front wheel maneuvers. Check out the last trick for example. Well done Corey! You will receive a pair of our Hawkeye Forks and Wonder Years Bars.

The 3rd place video goes to Chew Boy from Osaka, Japan. Lots of smooth, high speed, and long distance sliders are featured throughout this video. Every slider was very well controlled. Great job! Chew Boy gets a set of our Wonder Years Bars.
