Inside/Out - Philly Day 1

We are on day one of the fourth Inside/Out trip in Philadelphia. Adam Banton, Kelly Bolton and Seamus McKeon are the outsiders and Wiz is the man on the Inside. Seamus tells us all about day one.

Ahh, day one. The saga begins sometime around 10 A.M. The traveling band of BMX freaks, consisting of Adam Banton, Cali Bolton, Mapquest Mcqueen, RamRam 2.3.1, and myself all rose from bed and headed directly to the local diner. After injecting our systems with maximum trans-fat, we headed to childhood hero Van Homan's shop, 2x4. The shop is really nice, probably the best one I've ever been to. We found a picture in the bathroom of Leigh with a fu manchu and a leather vest and we knew it was our time to leave. Oh, by the way it was raining really hard. All day. Luckily, we're here to visit Brian Wizmerski, and he ain't no chump when it comes to spots so the rain wasn't even an issue. The man lined us up with a sesh at an intense indoor warehouse right in the slums of downtown Philly. Since we roll way too deep, Wiz and I had to ride our bikes a few miles to the warehouse. People in Philly are way too high-strung. Some jerks even threw coffee at us just for cruising through traffic. We made it though. Anyway, the warehouse was sweet. The ramps were nice and sketchy. I crashed a lot and got bloody. Cali did a flair for whatever reason. Adam did gyroscopic tech tricks. Wiz did some skids. I almost got decapitated. Sentence fragment. The local dawgs were real cool, they weren't even too bothered when we broke all their ramps. My personal highlight from the warehouse was blowing my foot clean through my shoe. Lugz. We all got sick of bikes eventually, and Wiz took us to his place of employment aka a delicious pizza place for nourishment. Cali bought a mini-keg. We parked illegally and made it out in the nick of time. Now we're back at the hotel, Bolton's dying his hair Black leather and Mangler's being a nerd making html codes in his meteorologist jacket as usual. We are about to meet back up with Wiz, and I have pretty positive feelings that it should be a good night. Stay tuned for more.
